GAS BLENDING COURSE
There's no better place, and no better person to learn the art and science of gas blending from. It's the most practical and complete blending program in Canada, from one of the pioneers.
A gas blending program holds significant value for divers and other industry professionals (a Blending Technician does not need to be a diver). It provides a level of safety assurance and ensures divers access properly prepared Nitrox and Trimix blends. This is why it is important that anyone enrolled in a gas blending program receive instruction from an experienced and knowledgeable trainer.
Taking a gas blending program with Bill Nadeau ensures expert knowledge from a pioneer who introduced Nitrox and technical diving to Canada. His extensive experience and safety-driven approach guarantee that Blending Technicians master the various complexities involved in preparing gas mixes for life support systems. Bill’s practical insights and hands-on training prepare Blending Technicians for real-world applications and technical diving scenarios.

In 1997 shortly after IANTD Canada first opened its doors, efforts to bring affordable and accessible Nitrox and mixed-gasses to the masses was set in place.
In fact it was a core group of individuals working out of the IANTD Canada office that pioneered and revolutionized continuous flow gas blending and the development of the first helium analyzer. Having had the fortune to be part of that team, our Instructor, Bill Nadeau, has committed to continuing the advancement of that science including co-authoring the IANTD Gas Blending manual with the 'Father of Nitrox', NOAA pioneer Dick Rutkowski. Bill has since gone on to conduct hundreds of gas blending technician programs.

This program will train individuals to effectively, safely and economically prepare diving gases using all of the available gas blending technology available. The program begins with a comprehensive review of Nitrox and mixed gas principals and covers partial pressure blending, continuous flow blending and compressor and booster operations. Lastly we go over the industry standards on O2 cleaning and compatibility and address much of the myth around handling oxygen.

Could there not be a better place to learn the art and science of blending than from the place it all started or be trained as a Gas Blending Instructor from the people who started it?
