VESSEL OPERATIONS
Transport Canada qualified operators with extensive experience in dive vessel operations as well as tenures with the RCMP Marine Unit and Canadian Coast Guard.
Canadian national regulations ensure marine safety and environmental protection. A commercial vessel ticket (also known as a certificate of competency) is required to operate any vessel conducting commercial operations. This certification is mandated by Transport Canada (TC) under the Canada Shipping Act and ensures that boat operators possess the necessary skills, training, and knowledge to safely navigate Canadian waters.
Any vessel that is operated for diving operations involving paid recreational divers, research or film, harvesting, or underwater construction/salvage must comply with Transport Canada Ship Safety Regulations and the Canada Shipping Act Collision Regulations.
